Iylium Fallen

Hello, all! As promised, here is Bree's best buddy, Iylium! He is one of few remaining Pacific Mystic Dragons. What is a Pacific Mystic? Well that's what I'm here to tell ya! But first here is some of the basics to Iylium, as a member of the Fire and Ice crew!

Name: Iylium (EE-Lee-Yum) Fallen
Age: 5 years old (very young for the breed)
Height: 8' 6"
Length: 11' 3"
Weight: ~600 lbs, but hes still growing. 
Owner: (More like Mom) Bree Fallen

Personality: Iylium is a benevolent, curious, and friendly creature, much like the rest of his breed. He is only considered dangerous when provoked or when Bree is in trouble. But to compare, he is like the Yellow Lab of Dragons. 

Now that you know about Iylium, lets start getting to know the dragon. 

Pacific Mystic Dragons!!

Appearance: (EDIT: I KNOW THE DRAWING SAYS THE TEAL COLORING IS SCALES, THIS IS FALSE, IT IS IN FACT SHORT FUR)
Anyhow, Pacific mystics come in a few kinds of colors, depending on the parents. however the most common colorations (for the base coat of fur) are teal, light pink, white, and lavender. They have dominantly purple eyes, like Iylium, have ivory horns, tiger-like paws, and the colors of the feathers often vary. And though not usually seen, Pacific Mystics have deep red blood that contain "cure all" components, and is the most common reason for it being endangered, as its hunted for its incredible features for medicine and other uses. 

Common Habitats: Pacific mystics are most commonly found in caves in remote islands found within the Pacific Ocean. The fact that they often live remotely, is the main reason why they don't see humans, as a threat, until it may be too late. 

Mode of Attack: Despite being a friendly species, they can become violent in terms of self defense. And in these situations they most commonly use their massive paws and brute strength against foes. They will also use their powerful tales and sharp teeth.

Life Span: (EDIT: THE PICTURE SAYS 2000, I CHANGED THIS EXAGGERATION TO LEGEND) In actuality, Pacific Mystics live ideally to about 300 years.

Size: Male Pacific Mystics when full grown stand at 20 feet high, and 12 feet in length. Females are significantly smaller, at 16 feet tall and 10 feet long.  

Mode of Transport: Depending on distance, they typically will fly. 

Now there are also some points labeled on the picture, and just in case there is any difficulty with my handwriting, or something has since BEEN UPDATED. I will list them down here. 

1. Eyes. These can see distances far beyond human sight and are extremely sensitive to harsh light.
2. Curled horns are made of ivory, and are one of the common reasons this breed is hunted.
3. Nose. It is exposed of its pinkish skin, and have a heightened sense of smell and like a dog, it sensitive when hit.
4. Fur! Both the long and short fur is extremely soft to the tough. And if properly sheered and seared, the smoke releases potent toxins. But is otherwise harmless.
5. Feathers. Also soft to the touch, has rather thick layer of oils on them that can be extracted to be used as a healing product for surface injuries like rashes.
6. Front paws. Resembling tiger paws predominantly, the are also rather hand like, and can kind grab some objects. Also contain sharp black claws.
7. Hind paws. Contains the most muscle, more claws, and give the dragon a great jumping start for soaring into the skies.
8. The chest is where the dragon grows its strongest plated scales. The underbelly also has scales but they are softer and do not make for great protection. However, when these scales are shed and crushed correctly, they can be used as a medicinal powder used to disinfect cuts and other infections.

And there you go! That is Iylium and his species! His breed is endangered but still beautiful and innocent. Bree and many others, could not imagine a world without them, but it sadly does not protect them, from the bounty hunters who are looking for a LOT of money.
